WHY WAS WISHING' U WELL CREATED?

This organization was created because of detrimental mental health in the special needs population! During COVID-19, these individuals may feel more secluded and run down than ever! This is a safe space where they can practice all aspects of their health from the comfort of their own home, and potentially create new life skills, valuable lessons, and even some friends along the way.

The Roots of Wishing' U Well

FOUNDER AND CEO - SHOSHANA FOLIC

Shoshana is originally from South Florida. She is a sophomore at Boston University in the Kilachand Honors College pursuing a dual degree in nutritional science and psychology on the pre-med track. In her free time, she enjoys going to the gym, going to yoga classes, cooking, and hanging out with friends. Her passion for helping others, knowledge of health-related issues, and empathy all came together to form Wishing' U Well. She saw something was missing in the community, and as mental health issues and inequity had increased in the special needs world during COVID-19, she wondered what she can do to help, and Wishing' U Well took off!
